Education Qualification – Assam PSC Recruitment

| 1. | Assistant Professor in Haflong Govt. College, Haflong: i. Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. |
| 2. | Assistant Professor in Kokrajhar Govt. College, Kokrajhar: i. Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. |
| 3. | Whole-time Assistant Professor of BRM Govt. Law College: (i) Master Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in a relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. (5% marks are relaxable to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category in the concerned subject.) (ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be. |
| 4. | Librarian of BRM Govt. Law College: (i) A master degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of Library. 5% marks are relaxable to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category in the concerned subject. (ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grant Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of M.Phil/Ph.D. degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be. |
